What to Think About
- Support vs Housing: Remember — SIL is staffing, SDA is housing. You might need one, the other, or both. And this might change over time.
- Funding vs Preference: Sometimes your plan funds 2:1 support but you dream of living solo. Or you want the “perfect” house that’s 40km from family, but a good-enough one is just around the corner. Be clear on the non-negotiables but keep some flexibility. Where you live is up to you; what you can have is often up to your plan.
